DPD (Dynamic Parcel Distribution) is one of the largest parcel service providers in Europe. This article focuses on specific information regarding a custom contract with DPD in Retino.

Supported Shipping Types with DPD

  • Drop-off - the customer drops off the package at a DPD branch

  • Pickup - a DPD courier picks up the package at the customer's address

Supported Shipping Directions

From → To: AT, BE, CZ, DE, EE, ES, FR, HU, IT, LT, LU, LV, NL, PL, PT, SE, SK → CZ

DPD GeoAPI only supports shipping to the Czech Republic from the listed countries.

Specific Setup Steps

  1. In the Settings > Shipping section, add a new contract and select one of the DPD options:

    • DPD Dropoff - for drop-off deliveries

    • DPD Pickup - for courier pickups

  2. Enter the API Key and Customer DSW

Tip: If you have any doubts about the accuracy of the data, contact your DPD account manager or their customer support.

Troubleshooting DPD Issues

Cannot Connect to API

If you encounter an API connection error:

  • Verify the entered API Key

  • Ensure your DPD account has access to GeoAPI

  • Contact DPD technical support

Specific Information on DPD Tracking

Thanks to the integration with DPD GeoAPI, package statuses are automatically updated and visible directly in the Retino ticket detail. However, the current DPD implementation in Retino does not support cancellation of shipments.
