GEIS is a transport company operating in Central Europe. This article focuses on specific information regarding a custom GEIS contract in Retino.

Important note: GEIS shipping can only be ordered from the Retino administration, not from the customer portal.

Supported Shipping Types with GEIS

  • Pickup - a GEIS courier picks up the package at the customer's address

GEIS currently only supports shipping within the Czech Republic.

Package Limitations

  • Maximum weight: 80 kg

  • Maximum volume: 10 m³

  • Maximum side length: 250 cm

Specific Setup Steps

  1. In the Settings > Shipping section, add a new contract and select the GEIS shipping type

  2. Enter your API login and API password

Pickup Time Window Specifications

For GEIS, you can select the pickup date. Pickup is only available on business days (Monday to Friday). Weekends and public holidays are not supported.

Specific Parcel Tracking Information

Thanks to the GEIS API integration, parcel statuses are automatically updated and visible directly in the Retino ticket detail. You can cancel the shipment until it's picked up by the courier using the "Cancel transport" function in the transport detail in the administration.
