Labels are a flexible tool for organizing and filtering your shipments. You can create your own label system for tracking specific situations, marking important shipments, or measuring the success of your processes.
What are labels for?
Labels help you:
Categorize shipments according to your needs
Filter shipments in the shipment list
Analyze specific groups of shipments in analytics
Track the results of your processes
Practical use of labels
Use Case 1: Tracking called shipments
When contacting a customer about a return shipment in the problem shipments section:
Add the label "Customer contacted"
In the problem shipments analytics, you can then evaluate the success of these interventions
Use Case 2: Automatic labeling of inactive shipments
Using automations, you can automatically add labels. For example:
Create a label "Inactive shipment"
Set an automation rule: "When a shipment is inactive for 5 days, add the label"
You can then easily filter and address these shipments
Use Case 3: Priority shipments
For VIP customers or urgent deliveries:
Mark shipments with the label "Priority"
Create your own filter in the shipment list
Track these shipments preferentially
How to work with labels

Filtering by labels
You can use labels for filtering:
In the shipment list using the label filter
In analytical dashboards for detailed analysis
Tips for effective label use
Best practices
Create a consistent label naming system
Use labels to track specific processes and their success
Combine labels with automations for automatic shipment labeling
Regularly review and clean up unused labels
Automations with labels
You can effectively combine labels with automations:
Automatic addition of labels based on shipment status
Marking shipments based on inactivity time
Categorization based on delivery type or carrier
Tracking specific situations in delivery
Automation example: When a shipment is inactive for 5 days (has no status updates), add the label "Inactive shipment". This allows you to easily filter shipments that are "stuck" in transit and proactively address them.
Analytics with labels
Use labels for advanced analysis:
Track delivery success for different shipment categories
Measure the effectiveness of your internal processes
Evaluate customer support success
Identify problematic areas in delivery
