Although Retino is not available among Shopify App Store apps, it is possible to integrate it with this e-commerce platform via API. Follow these instructions to connect:

Integration Procedure

  1. Log in as the account owner to the Shopify administration, go to the Apps section, click Develop Apps and then Build apps in Dev Dashboard

  2. Click Create an app, choose any app name (we recommend Retino) and click Create.

  3. On the Create a version page, fill in the fields:

  4. Click Release and in the dialog window click Release again

  5. On the previously opened page in the Request additional scopes and APIs section, click Choose distribution and select Custom distribution and fill in the store domain

  6. In the left menu, go to API access requests and in the Read all orders scope section, click Request access and fill in the reason, e.g.: Retino is a post-purchase platform for returns and warranty claims. EU law allows customers to file warranty claims up to 24 months after purchase. We need access to orders older than 60 days to verify the original order and process these claims.

  7. Now that the app has all the necessary permissions, go back to the Dev Dashboard, go to Settings for the created app, copy and send us the Client ID and Secret to the email address [email protected]. Also include the Canonical domain (format: **********.myshopify.com)

  8. Wait for us to complete the setup on our side. We will inform you.

  9. After entering the data into Retino on our side, you can install the app in the Home section.

The initial synchronization may take up to several hours depending on the number of your orders. Subsequent updates occur automatically every 6 hours. If you use Retino Tracking, we will register webhooks and order changes will be reflected immediately.

Generating Coupons for Refunds

Retino allows generating discount coupons for Shopify within the refund process.

Portal Integration

Once the data integration is complete, you will still need to integrate the customer interface – the Retino portal. To display the Retino portal on your website, insert an HTML block into your store's page and place the integration script inside it. And you're done!
