Supported Shipping Types with Packeta

Required Data for Packeta Integration

Data

Description

Where to find

API password

Password for accessing the Packeta API

In the Packeta (Zásilkovna) client section, under the "API" tab

Eshop label

Your e-shop identifier from the sender list

In the Packeta client section, under the "Senders" tab

Specific Setup Steps

  1. In the Settings > Shipping section, add a new contract and select Packeta (Zásilkovna)

  2. Enter the API password and Eshop label

  3. After saving, open the contract detail and review the Label section — choose the send method and, optionally, the printed label format

Tip: If you don't know your "Eshop label", you can find it in the Packeta client section, under the "Senders" tab. It's the label assigned to your e-shop during your Packeta account setup.

Send Method

For Packeta, you can choose how the customer hands the package over. Configure this in the contract detail under the Label section:

  • Drop-off code — the customer receives a six-digit code to dictate to the operator at a branch or to enter at a Z-Box terminal. No printing needed. This is the default for newly created contracts.

  • Printed label — a classic PDF label the customer prints and sticks on the package. Z-Boxes are not available in this mode (they only accept drop-off codes), only regular branches.

Note: Existing contracts keep their original behavior — if no send method is stored, Printed label is used. You can change it any time in the Label section of the contract detail.

Printed Label Format

When using a printed label, you can pick the paper size and layout. The selector appears in the contract detail's Label section only when Printed label is selected:

  • A7 on A4 — default, 4 labels on an A4 sheet

  • A7 on A7 — single label on a standalone A7 sheet

  • A6 on A4 — larger format with more details, 2 labels on A4

  • A6 on A6 — one large label on an A6 sheet

Troubleshooting Packeta Issues

Cannot Connect to API

If you encounter a connection error to the API:

  • Verify the correctness of the entered API password

  • Ensure the "Eshop label" is correctly entered

  • Check if you have API access enabled in your Packeta client section

Customer Process

With drop-off code:

  1. The customer creates a ticket in the portal

  2. They select shipping via Packeta

  3. They pick a branch or Z-Box on the map

  4. They receive a six-digit drop-off code

  5. They take the package and either dictate the code at the branch or enter it at the Z-Box terminal

With printed label:

  1. The customer creates a ticket in the portal

  2. They select shipping via Packeta

  3. They pick a regular branch on the map (Z-Boxes are hidden)

  4. They receive a shipping label, which they print

  5. They attach the label to the package and take it to the selected drop-off point

Tracking

Thanks to the Packeta API integration, package statuses are automatically updated and visible directly in the Retino ticket detail. The package can be cancelled if it hasn't yet been dropped off at a Packeta location.
