Are you trying to create credit notes directly from Retino, but Retino is telling you it doesn't have sufficient permissions to do so? If you installed our extension before September 1, 2022, this likely applies to you.

This is not a problem, we've prepared a quick guide for enabling credit note creation and management in Shoptet:

  1. Open your shop's administration.

  2. In the left sidebar menu, go to the Connections > Addon Manager tab.

  3. Among the installed add-ons, you'll see the Retino add-on with a "Grant Permissions" button. Click it.

  4. A modal with a list of addon permissions will open. Click the button at the bottom right to approve the extension.

  5. You're done! Now you can return to Retino and repeat the action you previously couldn't perform due to insufficient permissions.

Note: If you don't see the "Grant Permissions" button, try uninstalling and reinstalling the add-on. Newer versions of the extension automatically include all necessary permissions.

Why do I need to grant extension permissions?

Retino needs permissions to create credit notes to automate the entire refund process. With these extended permissions, Retino can:

  • Create credit notes directly from the ticket detail

  • Automatically link the credit note to the original order

  • Ensure all items and amounts in the credit note match the returned products

  • Provide customers with complete and professional credit note documents

Troubleshooting

If you continue to experience issues creating credit notes after granting extended permissions, please check the following:

  1. Ensure you're using the latest version of the Shoptet Retino extension

  2. Verify that your Retino integration with Shoptet is correctly configured

  3. Check that the user under which the extension is installed has sufficient permissions in Shoptet

If the problems persist, please contact our customer support team for assistance.
