Automated Email Sending

This article describes the configuration of sending and content of automated emails. Use the Email Designer to configure the appearance and design of emails.

What are automated emails?

Automated emails are individual email messages sent to a customer. While the Email Designer allows you to create general templates with design and layout, automated emails represent a specific email with its own content, subject, and recipient settings.

Default templates

When you create an account, we automatically create a set of default email templates and messages for the most common scenarios:

Basic settings

Each automated email includes the following settings:

Selection of a template from the Email Designer, which determines the email's appearance

Subject text with the possibility of using dynamic tags

Main heading

The main message of the email, e.g., "Your shipment is on its way"

Message body

Detailed information about the shipment status and further instructions

You can use the following dynamic tags in the email subject and body:

Managing multiple stores

If you operate multiple stores, you can create a separate set of automated emails for each. This allows you to:

  • Use different email templates with corresponding branding

  • Set specific texts and language versions

  • Customize content according to the needs of each store

Testing and monitoring

Testing emails

Before activating automated emails, we recommend:

  • Sending a test email to your own address

  • Checking the correct replacement of all tags

  • Verifying display in various email clients

  • Testing all links in the email

Tracking performance

For each automated email, you can track:

  • Number of emails sent

  • Delivery success rate

  • Open and click-through rates

Tips for effective use

  • Use clear and descriptive names for your automated emails

  • Regularly check the content's validity and tag functionality

  • Use the test mode before deploying changes
